6seine Mitvorsitzenden. Beschluss des Volkes; Kallistratos
7S.d. Glaukon aus dem Demos Kropidai stellte den Antrag: Worüber Bericht
8erstatten die Mitglieder der Mysterien-Kommission, nämlich über das
9Opfer, das sie opferten bei den Mysterien in Agrai,
10zu Glück und Heil!, wolle beschließen der Rat: dass die
11Vorsitzenden, die erlost sein werden zum Vorsitz im
12Volk für die kommende Volksversammlung, sie
13einführen vor das Volk und verhandeln lassen und
14die Beschlussvorlage des Rates in die Volksversammlung
15einbringen, wonach der Rat es für gut befindet, dass
16der Rat und das Volk das Gute billigen, das nach ihren
17Worten geschehen ist bei den Opfern, die sie opferten für das Heil und
18die Rettung des Rates und des Volkes und aller,
19die wohlwollend und freund sind dem Volk; – Da
20die Mitglieder der Mysterien-Kommission auch früher
21schon bei dem Opfer an den Großen Mysterien Sorge
22getragen haben für das Opfer; und jetzt das Rettungs-Opfer
23geopfert haben den Göttinnen für den Rat und das Volk
24aus eigenen Mitteln, und auch für alles andere Sorge getragen haben
25in guter und ehrgeiziger Weise: dass man belobige die Mitglieder
26der Mysterien-Kommission: Philoktemon S.d. Glaukon
27aus dem Demos Kropidai, Demokrates S.d. Epikrates aus dem Demos
28Kerameis, wegen ihrer Frömmigkeit gegenüber den Göttinnen und ihres
29Ehrgeizes für den Rat und das Volk; dass
30diesen Beschluss der Sekretär, der während
31der Prytanie amtiert, aufzeichne auf eine steinerne Stele und
32aufstelle in dem Eleusinion - - -

5son of Nausimachos of Euonymon was putting to the vote and
6his fellow presiding committee members. The People decided. Kallistratos
7son of Glaukon of Kropidai proposed: concerning what
8the managers of the Mysteries report about the
9sacrifice which they made in the Mysteries at Agrai,
10for good fortune, the Council shall decide: that the
11presiding committee allotted to preside in the
12People in the forthcoming Assembly shall introduce
13them to the People and put the matter on the agenda
14and submit the opinion of the Council to the People,
15that it seems good to the Council that the Council and People accept
16the good things which they say occurred
17in the sacrifices which they made for the health and preservation
18of the Council and the People and the others
19who are of good will and friends of the People; and since
20the managers of the Mysteries previously
21at the sacrifice of the Great Mysteries managed
22the sacrifice and now have sacrificed the Soteria
23to the goddesses on behalf of the Council and People
24from their own resources and have managed everything else
25well and with love of honour, to praise the
26managers of the Mysteries, Philoktemon son of Glaukon
27of Kropidai, Demokrates son of Epikrates of Kerameis
28for their piety to the goddesses and love
29of honour for the Council and People;
30and the prytany secretary shall
31inscribe this decree on a stone stele and stand
